The jacket combines weather protection, breathability and good freedom of movement in a durable construction that performs in both dry and windy conditions.

The material is a robust Wee Burly double-weave nylon fabric with recycled content, offering a balanced mix of durability, stretch and good ventilation. The inner face is lightly brushed to add warmth and soft comfort close to the skin, making it ideal for cool days or high-output efforts on steep terrain.

The Gamma Hoody has a regular fit that allows natural freedom of movement, and the stretch fabric lets the arms be raised without restriction – a significant advantage during climbing and technical movements. The helmet-compatible StormHood protects against wind and precipitation and can be adjusted with one hand without affecting the field of vision. The jacket is treated with a PFAS-free DWR finish that repels light moisture.

The cuffs are shaped with partial elastic for good coverage and to prevent cold draughts from entering, and the hem can be cinched to retain warmth and keep out debris and snow. The pocket layout is practical and climb-friendly, with two zip hand pockets and two chest pockets that provide easy access to small items even when wearing a pack or harness.
