Arc'teryx Atom Jacket builds on everything that makes the Atom Hoody so popular – simply without the hood. This is a layer that works across a wide range of high-intensity activities, whether worn on its own during cool forest walks, rock climbing, at the campsite, or as a mid-layer on ski tours and wet winter days.

The synthetic Coreloft Compact 60 insulation retains warmth well even when exposed to light precipitation, offering better and more predictable performance than down on days with variable weather. The jacket is extremely lightweight, compressible and easy to pack, whilst delivering impressive warmth relative to its weight.

The outer fabric is Tyono 20, a lightweight, soft and breathable material that balances wind resistance with good breathability. Inside, the jacket features a 20D recycled nylon lining that regulates temperature and feels comfortable against the skin. The sides are fitted with stretch fleece panels that provide effective ventilation and additional freedom of movement, particularly during high-output activity.

The fit is close to the body, with articulated patterning that allows natural mobility. The cuffs are made from an elastic knit material that stays snug without constricting, and the hem can be adjusted to keep draughts and cold out. A PFAS-free FC0 DWR treatment on the outside provides additional protection against light rain and snow.

The Atom Jacket features two hand pockets with concealed zips and an internal chest pocket for small items. The front zip uses Arc'teryx's No Slip Zip construction, which prevents the slider from creeping down, and TPU zip pullers make it easy to operate even with gloves on. The jacket is made from bluesign-approved materials with recycled content in both the insulation, contrast fabric and lining.
