Alpha SV Jacket is Arc'teryx's most durable shell jacket, designed for extreme alpine conditions (SV = Severe Weather). It is made with a breathable, waterproof and windproof GORE-TEX PRO membrane with Most Rugged Technology, where the most hardwearing materials are combined to achieve long-lasting storm protection. A micro-grid backer on the inside provides increased resistance to abrasion and contamination.

The jacket has a roomy fit for layering, with an anatomical construction and preshaped patterning for unrestricted freedom of movement.

The adjustable StormHood™ is helmet-compatible and features a brim for extra protection. The jacket is further equipped with two spacious chest pockets with zip, two internal pockets of which one has a zip, a pocket on the left arm, underarm zips for easy ventilation, Velcro® cuff adjustment, an adjustable hem, and a RECCO® reflector in the left bicep pocket.
