Outdoor trousers are robust, hardwearing and comfortable – designed for hiking, cabin life, hunting and outdoor activities in general. Unlike more technical shell trousers, outdoor trousers often use traditional materials that withstand rough treatment and only get softer with time.
We stock outdoor trousers from (the G-1000 trousers are classics). Many models feature plenty of pockets, reinforcements in vulnerable areas and an adjustable waist.
For long hikes or hunting: G-1000 or a similar waxable cotton-polyester blend. For fast-paced outings: lighter technical materials. For everyday use at the cabin: relaxed cuts and soft materials.
A good pair of hiking trousers should sit well over the hips without being tight in the crotch or at the knees. Make sure the waistband does not dig in under the hip belt of your rucksack. Many models have an adjustable waist and reinforcements in vulnerable areas such as the seat, knees and thighs.
